All tours start at Noon, unless otherwise noted.

Tours run rain or shine and please wear comfortable shoes.

Tours will run approximately one hour -- but don't be worried about leaving early if you need to get back to the office. None of our guides will take it personally.

Tour departure points will vary by tour -- check our web site or sign up for our newsletter for these details.  Our web site and our newsletter are also updated regularly in the event of changes, bad weather or the such, so please check in as tour dates approach.

Registration for all indoor tours is required due to internal security protocols. For these tours, please bring a photo ID with you on the day of the tour, and please plan to arrive a little early if you can in order to facilitate any security check-in our hosts will require.

Signing up for outdoor tours is appreciated, as it helps our guides to plan routes, plan stopping points, keep people from wandering into traffic, &c., but it isn't required.

Tour themes and guides are subject to change. Please check back for the most up-to-date information.

We're also happy to give private walking tours of the neighborhood at any point, so please contact us about that anytime. We'll take you around to any points in the neighborhood you would like to see, and we can tailor the tour to your interests. That's especially true this year, as we've learned from past years that August is a down time for participation, what with heat, humidity, and the likelihood you're on vacation!  Please contact us for more details

It's Important We Know What You Think

We're conducting a survey this summer to see how we're doing and what you'd like us to do to improve. We'd also like to know if you have any suggestions for new tours we could offer -- what would you like to know about Asylum Hill? The survey is open to anyone, but for those of you who take tours this summer and are willing to take this survey, we'll give you an extra chance in the end-of-summer raffle. Your tour guide will have more details about that every Wednesday at Noon.

Take the survey. Take it now!
