All tours start at Noon, unless otherwise noted.

Tours run rain or shine and please wear comfortable shoes.

Tour departure points will vary by tour. Please check back here regularly for updates, or sign up here for our new Summer Walking Tour newsletter, which will give you up-to-date information on tours as well as other fun tidbits about Asylum Hill. Tours will run approximately one hour -- but don't be worried about leaving early if you need to get back to the office. None of our guides will take it personally.

Registration for all indoor tours except the tour of the Interstate 84 Viaduct Project is required, due to internal security protocols. For these tours, please bring a photo ID with you on the day of the tour, and please plan to arrive a little early if you can in order to facilitate any security check-in our hosts will require.

Signing up for outdoor tours is appreciated, as it helps our guides to plan routes, plan stopping points, &c., but it isn't required.

Tour themes and guides are subject to change. Please check back for the most up-to-date information.

We're also happy to give private walking tours of the neighborhood at any point, so please contact us about that anytime. We'll take you around to any points in the neighborhood you would like to see, and we can tailor the tour to your interests. Asylum Hill is a great neighborhood, and we like nothing better than showing it off! If you miss one of the regular Wednesday tours, we may be able to make other arrangements for you. Please contact us for more details.

It's Important We Know What You Think

We're conducting a survey this summer to see how we're doing and what you'd like us to do to improve. We'd also like to know if you have any suggestions for new tours we could offer -- what would you like to know about Asylum Hill? The survey is open to anyone, but for those of you who take tours this summer and are willing to take this survey, we'll give you an extra chance in the end-of-summer raffle. Your tour guide will have more details about that every Wednesday at Noon.

Take the survey. Take it now!
