Safe Growth
We're working with several partners in the community to analyze a wealth of historic and current data on public safety and the quality of life in Asylum Hill. Our working hypothesis is that abandoned motor vehicles may predict future blight and crime hot spots.
TeacherDollars
TeacherDollars awarded NINA a substantial grant to purchase school supplies and books for the students at West Middle Community School. NINA worked with teachers at the school to develop a wish list, and the funding arrived at a critical time, as the school's response to the pandemic required that students have a set of supplies for school and for home. Books focused on racial and social justice.
