Since I was out there, and the leaves were colorful even if the sky was not. Happy Halloween!
Shots are the Salvation Army at 855 Asylum, which was originally an insurance company; soon to be former offices of 839 Asylum, which once upon a time housed a dentist’s office; the cross atop the Cathedral of Saint Joseph; the clock in the steeple at Asylum Hill Congregational Church, a memorial to Roland Mather, one of the wealthiest people to ever live in Hartford; and the future parochial school, once upon a time the Ambassador Hotel, at 765 Asylum.
