Tonight at its regular monthly meeting, the Asylum Hill Neighborhood Association recognized NINA’s executive director, Ken Johnson, for his many years of service to Asylum Hill and to AHNA. Ken has been committed to the revitalization of Asylum Hill since he took the job of executive director back in 2004, and he’s been involved with AHNA since that same time. For the last 11 years, he served as a member of AHNA’s board of directors. Congrats, Ken, for this honor!
The photo on the plaque is from October 28, 2013, when the banners in Sigourney Square Park were officially dedicated. From left to right are Luwannia Martin, Ken Johnson, Diane Cantello, and Mike Zaleski. And apologies for the glare, especially to Mike Zaleski, who’s face is hidden by it!
