The Hartford Urban Gardeners Society (HUGS) presented their 2025 awards for outstanding urban gardens today at Knox headquarters on Laurel Street. In the private home garden category, Chion Wolf was recognized for her amazing garden in front of her home at 52 Huntington Street. Congratulations, Chion!
Also winning awards today were Paul O’Mara, longtime Asylum Hill resident; the Center for Children’s Advocacy for their work at Sigourney Square Park; the Classical Magnet School for their community mural project; and the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center for its Garden of Wellness in Harriet’s Backyard. Congratulations as well to these awardees who are helping to beautify Asylum Hill!
