94-96 Ashley Street

Probably built in the 1890s by Frederick Mahl, 94-96 Ashley Street is the middle house in a trio of matching houses, but it stands out from its siblings due its second story exterior porch. It is also similar to 30-32 and 34-36 Ashley Street, one block east.

Second Floor Kitchen

The spacious, well-lit kitchen on the second floor is original to the house in terms of its area, but the new butcher block, which includes the oven and storage space, was donated to us by The Hartford. The Hartford had it on display as a model kitchen, and it was great good luck that we had the perfect space to accommodate it when they offered it to us. We then added cabinets to match the butcher block, here and also in the kitchen on the first floor.
