A lone, pale blue flower. Never mind the rat trap in the background. Wish they wouldn’t do that, as the hawks eat poisoned rats and then are also poisoned.
We had a group of volunteers in from The Hartford today, for their annual Day of Caring. They worked on interior demolition and some framing at 285 Farmington.
The alarm is still connected, and it’s sending out a low battery alert – or maybe it’s caught on that the emergency door to the former studios and offices of Hartford Public Access Television, which is off the main stairwell, is not only unlocked but also ajar. Naturally, I had to go in!
