Page: 8724As part of working with the banner guy today, I had to go into the office to grab one or two of the old banners, in order that we could evaluate whether they could be re-installed. While at Veeder Place, I noticed a large group of people who had parked in the parking lot and then queued up to get on a tour bus. There really is always something happening in Asylum Hill!
So, we went out today to install the new banners around Sigourney Square Park, but unfortunately some of the trees have grown so much that they now obscure entirely some of the banners. This is of course great news for the urban forest canopy, but it means a re-thinking of how to place the banners. And, as it turned out, the banner guy didn’t have the right brackets to attach, so ….
Just about everything has now been stabilized. Next step will be the demolition of the 1980s addition!
